Chuyen Hong Huu Le is an attorney-at-law in the corporate and commercial group of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Ho Chi Minh City office. Chuyen specializes in labor and employment, foreign investment, corporate services, regulatory affairs, and commercial transactions and M&A. She has particular expertise in the healthcare sector, where she has advised many top multinational companies on doing business in Vietnam, as well as the aviation sector. Chuyen also handles anti-corruption and competition matters and is regularly engaged by companies to conduct compliance training sessions for staff and business partners.
Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Chuyen worked for seven years at one of Vietnam’s top domestic law firms, where she advised a number of Fortune 500 companies on Vietnamese law. She is a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association and is active in pro bono activities.
Served on secondment for six months as chief legal counsel in Vietnam for the world’s largest three-sector healthcare company, filling a temporary vacancy in the position. Was responsible for all legal matters of the company’s entities in Vietnam, including drafting and reviewing contracts with service providers and employees; advising on numerous regulatory and legal issues; and reviewing training materials and company policies.
Advised on anti-corruption and antitrust for many foreign companies in Vietnam.
Advised a leading U.S. non-profit organization in registration of its activity in Vietnam.
Assisted a state-owned company with negotiation and finalization of the terms and conditions of a hotel management agreement with a Japanese company for a landmark luxury hotel.
Advised a leading U.S.-based transportation corporation on feasible investment forms to invest in and set up a seaport in Vietnam.
