Tilleke & Gibbins has one of Southeast Asia’s most active pro bono practices. We provide extensive support to NGOs and social enterprises in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam to ensure that they are able to continue their vital work unfettered by legal compliance issues in their corporate structures, labor and employment practices, and other legal matters. We assess each pro bono request carefully to ensure that our work has the maximum positive impact on the organizations that need it most.
We also work side by side with numerous global pro bono organizations such as TrustLaw and the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation to assist with global legal research projects on areas of socio-legal development that help to fight injustices across our three core pillars of education, human health, and sustainability.
Our dedication to pro bono work has been recognized on the international stage with awards from institutions and global organizations such as the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the Chambers and Partners Diversity & Inclusion Initiative, the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, and various others.
