Biography

Charupat Boon-Long is a counsel in Tilleke & Gibbin’s corporate and commercial practice in Bangkok, where he advises Thai and international corporate, private equity, and venture capital clients on M&A transactions, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, and corporate law.

Charupat has a long record of providing strategic assistance to multinational, regional, and domestic clients and investors in national and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring and divestments (including auction processes), and various other corporate and business law requirements. His practice focuses on cross-border private M&A, private equity, venture capital transactions, and related matters.

Charupat is highly regarded for his business acumen and engagement with the business community in Thailand. He is an active contributor to the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce as well as the Swiss-Thai Chambers of Commerce and regularly writes and presents on the topic of doing business in Thailand.

Charupat holds an LLM and a Wharton Business and Law Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, an LLB from Chulalongkorn University, and an LLB from the University of Osnabrück. He is an extraordinary member of the Thai Bar Association and is licensed by the Lawyers Council of Thailand.
