Tilleke & Gibbins Achieves Top Results in Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2026 Rankings

Tilleke & Gibbins has demonstrated continued excellence across all six jurisdictions where the firm operates in the 2026 edition of the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific rankings. The recently released rankings showcase the firm’s outstanding performance with 29 practice area recognitions and 34 individual rankings—an increase from 30 individual recognitions in 2025.

The firm continues to maintain its market-leading position across the region, with 10 practice rankings achieving Tier 1 status. A notable advancement this year is Vietnam’s Real Estate & Construction practice, which progressed from “Firm to Watch” to Tier 3.

In Thailand, Tilleke & Gibbins received 14 practice-area rankings:

  • Tier 1: Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, Labor and Employment, TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications)
  • Tier 2: Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A, Customs and International Trade, Insurance, Real Estate and Construction, Restructuring and Insolvency, Transport
  • Tier 3: Dispute Resolution: International Arbitration, Tax

The firm’s Vietnam offices achieved recognitions in 10 practice areas:

Tilleke & Gibbins secured five additional practice-area rankings across its other regional offices:

  • Tier 1: Laos (General Business Law), Myanmar (Corporate and M&A)
  • Tier 2: Cambodia (General Business Law), Indonesia (Intellectual Property), Myanmar (Projects)

Tilleke & Gibbins’ lawyers also received numerous individual rankings, including several promotions and new recognitions. Derrick Khoo and Yuwadee Thean-ngarm have been newly recognized as Leading Partners in Myanmar, while Santhapat Periera earned a new Leading Partner ranking for Banking and Finance in Thailand. Pornpan Wichawut has been named a Next Generation Partner for TMT in Thailand, and Pongpalin Chantrapirom is now listed as a Leading Associate for Dispute Resolution in Thailand. Additionally, Linh Thi Mai Nguyen advanced from Next Generation Partners to Leading Partners for IP in Vietnam, while Niti Muangkote and Nopparat Lalitkomon have been promoted to Next Generation Partners for Banking & Finance and TMT, respectively.
