Biography

Phubeth is an associate in the dispute resolution team at Tilleke & Gibbins’ Bangkok office. He advises and represents both local and international clients in a broad spectrum of civil and criminal litigation matters across various industries.

His practice covers a wide range of legal disputes, including contractual conflicts, insurance claims, torts, labor and employment issues, criminal cases, customs and trade matters, and bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings. He works closely with the firm’s litigation professionals to craft and implement legal strategies that align with clients’ business goals while effectively navigating the intricacies of Thai law.

His responsibilities include conducting in-depth legal research, drafting legal documents, translating key materials, preparing witnesses, and coordinating with courts, regulators, and government bodies. With a meticulous and client-oriented approach, he ensures comprehensive legal support at every stage of the dispute resolution process.

Phubeth holds an LLB from Chulalongkorn University.

  • Assisted a British executive in a high-value breach-of-contract dispute involving a THB 600 million claim over a service agreement, navigating complex contractual issues and litigating against several top-tier law firms in Thailand, with our strategic legal planning and effective advocacy resulting in the court ultimately dismissing the client from the proceedings.
  • Supported a vehicle manufacturer in a labor dispute concerning the interpretation of statutory severance pay and the application of complex monetary policies, providing legal analysis and case preparation that contributed to a successful dismissal of the claim, which protected the company from significant financial liability.
  • Represented a leading Thai real estate company in a contractual dispute over the right to use a shared passage between two adjacent properties, which involved intricate property law issues and stakeholder negotiations, resulting in a favorable court decision dismissing the claim.
  • Developed legal strategy for Thai public companies in the infrastructure sector and assisted in preparing legal arguments and advising on procedural approaches for initiating cases before the Administrative Court and effectively engaging with government authorities and regulatory bodies to support the clients’ objectives.
