In response to the recent uptick in cases of COVID-19 found in Myanmar, and concern about the disease’s spread, all branches of Myanmar’s Office of Registration and Deeds (ORD) have temporarily ceased accepting declarations.
Biography
Khin Zar Chi Kyaw Win is an associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ office in Myanmar. As a specialist in intellectual property law, she focuses especially on IP matters, such as trademark registration, responding to office actions, and providing legal advice on IP strategy. She also works together with Tilleke & Gibbins attorneys in the corporate and commercial team on compliance matters, drafting legal instruments, and structuring sound contracts.
With well-developed legal research skills, Khin Zar is adept at reviewing resources on case law and legal provisions to develop legal advice tailored to clients’ legal inquiries in a wide range of industries and practice areas. She also assists clients by producing unofficial translations of updated laws, announcements and contracts between Myanmar language and English.
