International Employment Lawyer (IEL) recently held the IEL Awards 2023 ceremony celebrating the world’s leading labor and employment law practices, and Tilleke & Gibbins received the “Highly Commended” award in the Asia-Pacific Law Firm of the Year category. The awards ceremony, which was held at Plaisterers Hall in London, brought together more than 200 representatives from law firms and in-house lawyers from around the world. The finalists for the IEL Awards 2023 included a range of leading global, regional, national, and boutique law firms recognized as top specialists in employment law. To determine both the shortlist of finalists and the winners, IEL’s editorial team researched the firms’ achievements over the last year and considered client testimonials and feedback from other sources in the market. Tilleke & Gibbins won awards for three jurisdictions at the recent Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) and World Trademark Review (WTR) Global IP Awards 2023, including Indonesia Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year, Thailand Patent Firm of the Year, and Vietnam IP Firm of the Year.

Alan Adcock and Somboon Earterasarun, partners in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property (IP) department in Bangkok, are named in the 2023 edition of IAM Strategy 300. Alan, who also leads the firm’s regional life sciences practice, has now been recognized in the annual IAM Strategy 300 list for 13 years, while this is Somboon’s first year on the list.
