USD 3.2 Million Land Acquisition for Factory in Thailand

The firm’s real estate team in Thailand assisted Precious Dragon Technology (Thai) Limited, the wholly-owned Thai subsidiary of a Hong Kong-listed automotive beauty and maintenance aerosol product manufacturer, in its THB 100 million (approx. USD 3.2 million) acquisition of a 36,983 sq. m. plot of land in the Pinthong Industrial Estate Project 3 in Chonburi, Thailand.

To facilitate the transaction from start to end, our cross-practice team was engaged to assist the client with company incorporation ahead of the transaction, conduct land due diligence on the plot of land, review and advise on the land sale and purchase agreement (SPA), and advise on required licenses and permits for foreign-owned companies to own land in Thailand. As a result of our work on this matter, the SPA was successfully executed in June 2020.
