The firm’s team in Yangon assisted a Thai listed company with their proposal to acquire 100% equity interest (valued at approx. USD 12 million) in a licensed microfinance company in Myanmar. In advising on the transaction, our on-the-ground team in Yangon conducted a full legal due diligence on the target company; drafted and negotiated the share purchase agreement to be entered into between the existing shareholders of the target and the client; assisted in closing the multi-million USD transaction; and assisted in preparation of the final binding offer.
