Two Tilleke & Gibbins Partners to Speak at Employment Law Seminar for Thai Listed Companies

On February 20, 2020, Chusert Supasitthumrong, partner and head of Tilleke & Gibbins’ contentious labor and employment team, and Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut, partner and head of the firm’s non-contentious labor and employment team, will offer their in-depth experience and knowledge of Thai labor law to members of the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA) in a seminar at the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

Pimvimol will open the seminar with an informative session that will provide updates on the various changes to Thai Labor Law that have been enacted over the past year, touching on technology in the workplace, relocation rules, and other recent amendments. Following the first session, Chusert will provide attendees with insight into legally sound and practical termination strategies to help them avoid costly unfair termination claims and disputes. To close the event, a number of human resources professionals representing Thai listed companies will join a panel to share best practices in human resources.

The employment law seminar, co-hosted by the TLCA and Tilleke & Gibbins, will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the SET in Bangkok. For more information, or to register for the seminar, please visit the TLCA website. (Seminar open to Thai listed companies only).
