Tilleke & Gibbins’ TMT Practice in Thailand Receives Highest Ranking by Chambers

Tilleke & Gibbins technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) practice group in Thailand has been recognized by Chambers Asia-Pacific  with a “Band 1” ranking for the fifth consecutive year in 2017. The rankings are based on client feedback, work handled by firms, and the strength of firms’ teams, among other factors.

The ranking’s editorial highlights the outstanding track record of Tilleke & Gibbins’ TMT practice group, including its expertise on a full spectrum of issues, from contracts to M&A and litigation. Clients praised the group for the calibre of its advice: “The firm has provided us with exceptional high-quality support.”

Jeffrey J. Blatt, of counsel in the firm’s TMT group, garnered continued recognition for his TMT and IP work, with his extensive experience in satellite television broadcasting, telecommunications, and data privacy matters. Likewise, David Duncan, a consultant in the same group, received very positive client feedback: “He helps us extensively and shows great understanding of what is going on in the market. Tilleke & Gibbins has been named to the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Fast 30: Asia’s Fastest Growing Firms 2024. The ranking highlights law firms across Asia that have demonstrated significant growth and leadership in a competitive and evolving legal landscape. Selection for the ALB Fast 30 is based on metrics such as growth in fee-earners, new office openings, the addition of key partners and clients, revenue increases, and other measures of expansion. This is the second time Tilleke & Gibbins has been included on the list, having previously earned recognition in 2022. The Fast 30 ranking complements ALB’s annual Top 50 Largest Law Firms feature, which evaluates firms by total lawyer headcount.
