Tilleke & Gibbins Lawyers to Speak on Labor and Compliance at In-House Congress HCMC

On Tuesday, April 9, In-House Community will hold its sixth annual In-House Congress Ho Chi Minh City, an all-day conference targeting in-house lawyers, CEOs, company directors, and compliance professionals in Vietnam with workshops conducted by legal professionals on important issues such as compliance, internal audits, and the new Cybersecurity Law.

Tilleke & Gibbins, a co-sponsor of the event, will be presenting a workshop on “Hiring & Firing in Vietnam: Pitfalls to Avoid.” Thomas J. Treutler, managing director of the firm’s Vietnam offices, partner Dr. Vinh Quoc Nguyen, and attorney Chuyen Hong Huu Le will share tips and best practices for hiring and terminating staff in Vietnam, conducting effective compliance training, and protecting IP and trade secrets in the workplace.
