Tilleke & Gibbins Lawyers Recognized as IAM Global Leaders in Patents

Four Tilleke & Gibbins lawyers have been named in this year’s Global Leaders list from Intellectual Asset Management (IAM). The list recognizes the world’s most outstanding private practice experts in patent law. Alan Adcock, Darani Vachanavuttivong, and Nandana Indananda have been included in the list for Thailand—three of the four individuals listed for Thailand—while Thomas Treutler is recognized for Vietnam.

To qualify for this prestigious honor, individuals must rank in the gold tier of the IAM Patent 1000, a highly respected annual directory that identifies the top law and attorney firms and individuals in the world’s most significant patent jurisdictions. The selection process involves a comprehensive four-month research process carried out by a full-time research team that gathers hundreds of written submissions from firms, conducts face-to-face and telephone interviews, and corresponds with patent lawyers, attorneys, and their clients.

Candidates for IAM Global Leaders are selected based on their expertise, experience, and ability to innovate, inspire, and deliver value for their clients. Inclusion on the list is a strong endorsement of the exceptional skills and dedication these lawyers have shown for their client in the field of patents.

Tilleke & Gibbins is pleased to announce that managing partner Darani Vachanavuttivong and Wongrat Ratanaprayul, director of the firm’s Indonesia office, have been recognized in Managing Intellectual Property’s Top 250 Women in IP 2025 for their outstanding contributions to the field of intellectual property law. Darani Vachanavuttivong appears on the list for the seventh time, and is notably the only lawyer from Thailand to appear on the list. Wongrat Ratanaprayul, on the list for the third straight year, is one of just three lawyers from Indonesia to be included. Managing Intellectual Property states that its annual list “recognizes senior IP practitioners who consistently go above and beyond for their clients and firms.” The final list of ranked individuals was determined after a thorough review of submissions provided for the company’s IP Stars rankings and the Managing IP Awards.
