In its recently released 2019 IP world survey, Managing Intellectual Property  (MIP ) named eight Tilleke & Gibbins lawyers as “IP Stars” in Thailand and Vietnam. The IP Stars honors are reserved for the top global practitioners working in the fields of patents and trademarks. They are selected based on client and peer recommendations in their jurisdiction, with only the most commended practitioners being listed in the final results of the annual survey. All eight Tilleke & Gibbins 2019 IP Stars are repeat recipients of this honor.

On August 7, 2019, Dino Santaniello, head of Tilleke & Gibbins’ office in Laos, will provide a keynote presentation for the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Laos (EuroCham Laos) breakfast talk, hosted in association with the Southeast Asia IPR SME Helpdesk.

Yuwadee Thean-ngarm, director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Myanmar office, and Sher Hann Chua, a consultant in the firm’s regional intellectual property practice, were featured heavily in a recent article in World Trademark Review  (WTR ) , a leading publication focused on global trademark news and trends.

Partners Thomas J. Treutler and Loc Xuan Le, representing the South-East Asia IPR SME Helpdesk, will speak to business mission delegates from European healthcare and medical device companies at two events in Ho Chi Minh City on July 31 and August 1. The events are part of the EU Business Avenues program, an EU-funded initiative helping European SMEs in various industries to extend their business to Southeast Asian markets.
