Tilleke & Gibbins and TLCA to Co-host Webinar on Options for Employers during COVID-19 Outbreak

On April 9, 2020, Chusert Supasitthumrong, partner and head of the firm’s contentious employment practice, will present a webinar co-hosted by Tilleke & Gibbins and the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA). The webinar, entitled “Options for Employers during the COVID-19 Outbreak,” will address legally compliant actions that employers in Thailand can take to help alleviate business disruption and navigate complicated HR decisions that may arise as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During his presentation, which will be conducted in Thai, Chusert will discuss options available to employers under Thai legislation to mitigate the effects of a crisis, describe necessary steps to plan for and implement such options, explain the definition of force majeure  under Thai law and how it relates to COVID-19, and provide practical tips and advice for employers looking to maintain legal compliance through these trying times.
