Tilleke & Gibbins Adds Two to Vietnam Corporate/Commercial Team

Tilleke & Gibbins is pleased to announce the addition of two experienced lawyers, Anh Thi Phuong Pham and Chuyen Hong Huu Le, to the firm’s corporate and commercial group in Ho Chi Minh City.

Phuong Anh joins the firm from Russin & Vecchi, where she was involved in numerous M&A deals, including the EUR 655 million acquisition of the Vietnamese arm of the German retailer Metro. She is also an expert on consumer protection and product liability law in Vietnam, and has served as a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law since 2001.

Before joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Chuyen spent seven years with top-tier domestic firm YKVN, where she advised clients representing some of the world’s biggest companies on entering and doing business in Vietnam. She has particular expertise in the pharmaceutical and aviation fields, and was a founding member of YKVN’s pro bono practice.

“To keep up with our clients’ growing needs, we’ve been continually expanding—we’ve gone from 50 lawyers and staff in Vietnam in 2011 to almost 100 today,” said Michael K. Lee, Partner and Head of Corporate/Commercial for Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices. “We’re always looking for talent who can expand our client-service capabilities, and we’re excited by the experience that Phuong Anh and Chuyen bring to us. We think they will be fantastic additions to our team.”
