Three Awards for Tilleke & Gibbins at the ALB SE Asia Law Awards 2023

Tilleke & Gibbins has been named the winner in three categories of the Asian Legal Business (ALB) SE Asia Law Awards 2023. Announced at a ceremony in Singapore on May 23, the awards recognize the top legal service providers in Southeast Asia over the past year. This year, Tilleke & Gibbins was named the winner in two firmwide categories:

  • Regional Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year
  • Regional Litigation Law Firm of the Year

The Regional Intellectual Property Law Firm of the Year award is the third in four years from the ALB SE Asia Law Awards, while ALB’s selection of Tilleke & Gibbins for the Regional Litigation Law Firm of the Year award is a first for the firm.

In addition to these firmwide awards, Tiziana Sucharitkul, managing partner of Tilleke & Gibbins, was the recipient of the Managing Partner of the Year (Emerging Markets) award. This honor recognizes her outstanding leadership of the firm on the international stage as well as her contributions to the legal industry in Southeast Asia.

The ALB SE Asia Law Awards are an annual awards ceremony that recognizes outstanding law firms and lawyers in the Southeast Asian region. Winners of these highly regarded awards are determined by an independent panel of judges consisting of at least 25 senior legal industry experts.

Only one lawyer per practice area is recognized in each jurisdiction. This recognition reflects sustained commitment that Jay and John have shown to delivering practical, client-focused advice and achieving strong outcomes across complex and often sensitive matters. Tilleke & Gibbins has maintained its strong market position in the newly released Chambers Asia-Pacific 2026 rankings, with six Band 1 honors in core practices and consistently strong performance across the entire region. In addition to the exceptional practice-area rankings, 33 lawyers were recognized across 11 practice areas.

Tilleke & Gibbins has again secured a Band 1 ranking for Thailand in the FinTech Guide 2026 from Chambers and Partners, maintaining the firm’s position among the country’s leading advisors on financial technology and digital regulatory matters. Chambers named only three firms in Thailand in the FinTech Guide 2026, with Tilleke & Gibbins one of just two ranked in Band 1. In the individual rankings, Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, partner and director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial department, continues to be recognized as a Band 1 practitioner. Pornpan Wichawut, counsel and head of the firm’s Thailand fintech practice, is ranked as Up & Coming for 2026.
