In this year’s edition of Asialaw Leading Lawyers, a guide to the Asia-Pacific’s leading practitioners, 12 lawyers at Tilleke & Gibbins were recognized for their outstanding capabilities. The results were determined through an extensive annual survey of senior corporate executives, in-house counsel, and private-practice lawyers.The following individuals have been named as Asialaw Leading Lawyers this year according to practice area and jurisdiction:
John Frangos, a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, will moderate a panel discussion on “Developing International Arbitration in Thailand: Lessons from the United Kingdom and Singapore,” at a seminar hosted by the Thailand Arbitration Center. The panel discussion will cover arbitration in the United Kingdom and Singapore, and how various aspects of both systems could help develop arbitration in Thailand.
Dr. Jakkrit Kuanpoth, of counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, will moderate a panel discussion on “Arbitration and ADR in IP Disputes,” at an event jointly hosted by the Thailand Arbitration Center and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. The panel discussion will feature experts from the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center (Singapore office), the Thai Department of Intellectual Property, and Assumption University.
