On August 5, 2020, two lawyers from Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property department will appear in an online panel discussion on intellectual property dispute resolution, organized by the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC).Dr. Jakkrit Kuanpoth, of counsel, will moderate the webinar panel, and Michelle Ray-Jones, consultant, will participate as one of the panelists. 

In a research project to celebrate Pride Month 2020, World Trademark Review  (WTR) recently set out to explore the landscape of diversity and inclusion initiatives in law firms across Asia, culminating in an article in the magazine’s July edition. In discussing the activity of firms that are proactively pushing forward diversity and inclusion in Asia, WTR  specifically highlighted Tilleke & Gibbins’ unique approach across the firm’s offices in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

On July 2, Nuanchun Somboonvinij, attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group in Bangkok, will speak at a webinar cohosted by Tilleke & Gibbins and Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management.

On June 10, Yuwadee Thean-ngarm, director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Yangon office and secretary-general of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM), and Nada Songsasen, consultant, will join TBAM’s Myanmar Update #6: COVID-19 to discuss recent developments in the jurisdiction during the pandemic.
