The Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods is mentioned in an October 18 commentary article in the Bangkok Post written by Curtis S. Chin, a former US Executive Director and Ambassador to the Asian Development Bank and current board member of Community and Family Services International, a nonprofit humanitarian organization based in Manila. Mr. Chin, who visited Tilleke & Gibbins in September 2011, briefly describes the museum’s history and its collection in the commentary. By reflecting on his personal experience in Thai markets, he also explores some of the common questions that consumers face when confronted with counterfeit goods.

The Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods has been featured in Svenska Dagbladet, a widely circulated newspaper published on a daily basis in Sweden. The article examines intellectual property infringement through the eyes of a Swedish journalist, as he presents his experiences while traveling throughout many parts of Thailand. Like many tourists, he encounters a plethora of pirated goods sold at prices that are truly too good to be true.
