The Prospect Group Interviews David Lyman on Legal Environment for Business in Thailand

The Prospect Group

Tilleke & Gibbins Chairman and Chief Values Officer David Lyman was recently interviewed by The Prospect Group as part of its ongoing series of Executive Focus profiles of leading business executives. During the wide-ranging interview, David discussed the firm’s plans for regional growth and development, recent legislation in Thailand, and the expected impact of the ASEAN Economic Community.

In discussing the outlook for Thailand from the perspective of foreign investors, David said, “Fortunately we have had relative political stability for the past few years. Investors look for stability and predictability. They also look at the ground rules. Once we understand the ground rules, they must not be changed abruptly. Businesses can succeed in any almost environment, provided these three key criteria are met.”

The Prospect Group is a global media content provider that partners with Bloomberg, Reuters, Zwaya, and The Economist. Specializing in media, research, and consulting, it meets with leaders from a cross-section of industries and countries to examine the pressing issues facing businesses.
