On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, attorneys from Tilleke & Gibbins will deliver a webinar on Thailand’s laws and procedures for bankruptcy and business rehabilitation, organized by the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AustCham).

On September 3, 2020, Noppramart Thammateeradaycho, counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution department, will moderate a webinar on online mediation as a tool for dispute resolution. This session is the tenth installment of the THAC International ADR Webinar Series 2020, organized by the Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), and will feature discussion of how online technologies are being used in the resolution of conflicts and mediation of disputes.

Earlier this year, the government of Myanmar introduced the new Insolvency Law 2020 and Insolvency Rules 2020, which have effectively modernized the legal framework for corporate insolvency and bankruptcy in the jurisdiction. To explain the new legislation and discuss how quickly it may become relevant to companies and investors weathering the COVID-19 pandemic, Tilleke & Gibbins will host a free-to-attend webinar entitled, “What to Expect from Myanmar’s New Insolvency Law.”
