Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut and Chuyen Hong Huu Le Join Lex Mundi Asia Employment Panel

On April 24, Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut, partner and head of the Tilleke & Gibbins’ non-contentious employment practice in Thailand, and Chuyen Hong Huu Le, attorney-at-law in the firm’s Vietnam practice, will join a much anticipated cross-border panel of labor and employment professionals representing Lex Mundi member firms across Asia.

The panel, which will comprise professionals from seven jurisdictions around the region, will come together to discuss how employers can tackle the difficult economic impact of COVID-19 through novel methods under the law. Entitled “Innovative Labor and Employment Solutions under COVID-19 — An APAC Perspective,” the one-hour session will cover options such as furloughs, work reductions, and approaches to public holidays during the unprecedented challenges presented by the pandemic.

On November 19, 2020, Tiziana Sucharitkul, co-managing partner at Tilleke & Gibbins and director of the firm’s regional disputes resolution practice, will join a panel of managing partners from leading law firms around the world for a special roundtable seminar at the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference. Originally due to be held in Miami, the 2020 conference has moved online this year under the theme “Virtually Together,” in light of the ongoing global health crisis.

In a research project to celebrate Pride Month 2020, World Trademark Review  (WTR) recently set out to explore the landscape of diversity and inclusion initiatives in law firms across Asia, culminating in an article in the magazine’s July edition. In discussing the activity of firms that are proactively pushing forward diversity and inclusion in Asia, WTR  specifically highlighted Tilleke & Gibbins’ unique approach across the firm’s offices in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
