Bangkok Trader, an English-language general interest and lifestyle magazine in Thailand, has published an article describing the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods. Journalist Dave Stamboulis interviewed Suebsiri Taweepon of the Tilleke & Gibbins IP group about the museum and its collection.

Counterfeit products are becoming increasingly pervasive in our daily lives, according to a report in today’s edition of the Bangkok Post. This was one of many insights about intellectual property infringement gained through a visit to the Pharmacide Arts & Counterfeit Goods exhibition, currently running at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC).

Tilleke & Gibbins is serving as a cosponsor of Pharmacide Arts & Counterfeit Goods, an art exhibition organized by the French Embassy in Thailand and the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP). Running from April 2 to May 26, 2013, at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC), the exhibition is intended to educate the public about the dangers of fake medicine through a series of works of art. The event also features a range of products on loan from the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods.

After a recent visit to the Museum of Counterfeit Goods by representatives from a local television program, Cutie Diary, the museum will be featured on the show’s broadcast on December 24, 2012.
