Media Law International Ranks Tilleke & Gibbins’ Media Practice as Tier 1 in Thailand

Tilleke & Gibbins’ Thailand practice has received a “Tier 1” ranking in media law from Media Law International, reflecting the outstanding capabilities possessed by our Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) group. The rankings were determined through an assessment of law firms’ individual media law departments, taking into account the qualities of their lawyers and the effectiveness and capabilities of their media team as a whole. These factors were judged through extensive interviews conducted with clients and lawyers.

In addition to the ranking, the ranking’s editorial praised our firm for its wide-ranging capabilities, saying, “with a stream of mandates and diverse specialization, Tilleke & Gibbins is placed in a leading position.” Jeffrey J. Blatt, of counsel and head of the technology, media, and telecommunications department at Tilleke & Gibbins, was also quoted extensively for his views on the media market in Thailand, saying, “there has been greater interest from overseas in investing in the media market” and the country has “maintained a healthy print business.”
