Legal 500: Tilleke & Gibbins’ IP Practice in Thailand Ranked in “Tier 1”

The Legal 500 Asia Pacific

The Legal 500 Asia Pacific  has ranked Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group in Thailand as a Tier 1 practice for the twelfth year in a row. The rankings come with the release of the 2015 edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.

In the editorial of the intellectual property rankings for Thailand, Tilleke & Gibbins is described as having expertise in patents, including patent and design searches, registrations, and prosecutions of infringements. The editorial goes on to mention the firm’s “sizeable trade marks practice,” which “appeals against decisions of the Board of Patents and Board of Trademarks.” The firm’s capabilities are then praised, with the editorial stating: “the [Tilleke & Gibbins] team is also experienced in resolving franchising and distributorship issues.”

Alan Adcock, Darani Vachanavuttivong, and Sukontip Jitmongkolthong, lawyers in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property department, were also lauded as being “recommended” practitioners.
