Labor Laws Updates 2016: Presentation by Chusert Supasitthumrong on Avoiding Employment Disputes

Chusert Supasitthumrong, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution and litigation group, will speak at “Labor Laws Updates 2016,” a conference hosted by Ideal Forum. The conference will focus on recent developments in Thailand’s labor law, and in particular, it will cover interesting Labor Court and Supreme Court rulings, termination of employment, dismissals, reorganization, and employee fraud detection and litigation, among other topics. Chusert will present on “Strategically Drafting Employment Contracts to Minimize Disputes,” and he will discuss the following subjects in detail:

  • Employment contract terms
  • Terms incorporated by subsequent agreement
  • Contracting out of minimum statutory terms
  • Variation of the employment contract
  • Essential, common, and less common terms in an employment contract
  • Potential problem areas
