David Lyman to Chair Session on Anti-Corruption Strategies at CEBAP 3

National Anti-Corruption Commission, World Bank, and Transparency International

David Lyman, chairman and chief values officer at Tilleke & Gibbins, will chair a session on “Anti-Corruption Strategies” at the “Third Conference on Evidence-Based Anti-Corruption Policies” (CEBAP 3), a conference organized by Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission in collaboration with the World Bank and Transparency International. The session will feature prominent government officials who will speak on anti-corruption strategies in Bhutan, Malaysia, and the Philippines. 

CEBAP 3 will take place over two days, from June 17 to 18, at the Sukosol Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. David’s chaired session will be held on June 18, from 3.15 p.m. to 4.45 p.m., at the Duangkamol Room. On February 1, 2021, the Myanmar military declared a state of emergency in the country and took control of the government, arresting State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, President Win Myint, and other senior government officials from the National League for Democracy. Sarah was previously the associate director of KPMG Legal in Ho Chi Minh City, and an associate with Baker & McKenzie. A native of Canada, where she is a licensed barrister and solicitor, Sarah began her legal career with Fraser Milner Casgrain in Vancouver (now Dentons Canada) before moving to Vietnam.
