Darani Vachanavuttivong, managing partner and managing director of the firm’s intellectual property (IP) practice, has been recognized in the ALB Asia Top Female Lawyers 2026 list published by Asian Legal Business (ALB). The annual list honors 20 outstanding female lawyers from across Asia who have demonstrated exceptional legal expertise, leadership, and impact in their respective fields. Notably, Darani is the only lawyer from Thailand included in this year’s ranking.

This marks Darani Vachanavuttivong’s fourth appearance on ALB’s prestigious list. Her continued inclusion reflects her longstanding contributions to the legal profession, leadership within the intellectual property field, and the strong reputation she has earned among clients and peers throughout the region. Darani Vachanavuttivong, co-managing partner of Tilleke & Gibbins and managing director of the firm’s intellectual property practice, was awarded the global International Trademark Association (INTA) Membership Champion Award at the 2021 INTA Annual Meeting Virtual+, which took place on November 15–19. INTA grants the annual Membership Champion award in recognition of a member’s dedication to helping grow INTA membership, increase awareness of the association, and promote member benefits. The award is given to just one member from INTA’s entire global membership each year. In granting the award, INTA highlighted Darani’s passion for intellectual property law and her commitment to INTA, exemplified through her efforts as chair of the Asia-Pacific Sub-Committee of INTA’s Global Advisory Council and her continued efforts to promote collaboration with brand owners and government agencies. The award was presented in a special video message by Ms. Tiki Dare, president of INTA, during the hybrid global gathering. On November 10, 2021, Tilleke & Gibbins was awarded a CSR Recognition at the 2021 AMCHAM CSR Excellence Awards, hosted online by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in Thailand. This is the second consecutive year that the firm was recognized at these awards, which celebrate companies in Thailand with sustainable business practices such as good governance, social responsibility, business integrity, stakeholder engagement, and demonstrated delivery of positive impacts on the society and environment. The awards bring together AMCHAM member companies each year to highlight exceptional corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects by American and Thai companies, with the aim of encouraging businesses to recognize the value of giving back to the community. This year, winning companies received a certificate marking the recognition, along with congratulatory letters from the chargé d’affaires of the U.S. Embassy and the president of AMCHAM Thailand.
