CILS International Employment Law 2019 – Vietnam Chapter

Lawyers from Tilleke & Gibbins’ Hanoi office contributed the Vietnam chapter of the latest edition of the Center for International Legal Studies’ International Employment Law (Second Edition, Release 8, 2019), an overview of employment law in 45 jurisdictions around the world.

The guide provides information on the laws affecting compensation, hours of work, health care coverage, other benefits, training, treatment of part-time, temporary, and seasonal workers, laws against discrimination, collective bargaining, workers’ participation in management, worker compensation insurance, dispute resolution, and termination.

The Center for International Legal Studies is a nonprofit research, training, and law publication institute based in Austria. International Employment Law is published under the leadership of Professor Dennis Campbell.

In November 2019, the National Assembly of Vietnam issued a new version of the Labor Code, which serves as the principal legislation on employment and labor relationships in Vietnam, covering domestic and foreign employers and employees.
