Chambers Asia-Pacific: Thailand TMT Practice at Tilleke & Gibbins Ranked in “Band 1”

The technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) practice group at Tilleke & Gibbins has been ranked at the top of the Thai market by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2014. The publication, which ranks lawyers and law firms across the region based on client work and market interviews, was released yesterday.

A market source contacted by the publication lauded Tilleke & Gibbins’ expertise, stating that the firm has “a good background in technology.” The Chambers Asia-Pacific editorial singles out the significance of the firm’s recent work in advising Tata Communications on its entry into the Thai market, in which we assisted on licensing and corporate structure. In its “notable practitioners” section, Jeffrey J. Blatt, Of Counsel in the firm’s TMT Department, is highlighted as being “a seasoned specialist.” David Duncan, a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins, is also mentioned for his important role in the TMT group. Both practitioners were also individually ranked by the publication.
