Benchmark Litigation Recognizes Tilleke & Gibbins with Impact Case of the Year Award

Benchmark Litigation has announced the winners of the Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific Awards 2023, and Tilleke & Gibbins was recognized with an Impact Case of the Year award for the firm’s successful representation of Alibaba in a dispute related to intellectual property infringement allegations.

The case, which was led by the firm’s intellectual property litigation team, involved defending Alibaba against claims regarding the liability of e-commerce platforms for indirect intellectual property infringement. The favorable judgment in the case was Thailand’s first to rule on e-commerce platform liability for intellectual property infringement. More details on the case are available at the link above.
