Bangkok In-House Congress 2014: Chusert Supasitthumrong and David Lawrence to Speak on Recent Litigation Cases

Pacific Business Press

When managing litigation matters, it is vital for in-house counsel to effectively leverage private practice lawyers’ experience. To explore how best to handle the relationship, Chusert Supasitthumrong and David Lawrence, partner and consultant respectively in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution team, will jointly speak at this year’s Bangkok In-House Congress on the topic “Litigation Case Studies: Lessons Learned from Recent Disputes.” They will provide detailed insight into how to overcome hurdles that arise before and during contentious disputes, while making reference to recent litigation case studies. Their presentation will cover the lessons learned in managing disputes that relate to the following subjects:

  • Termination of a distribution contract
  • Product liability claims
  • Collective bargaining agreement negotiations
  • White-collar crime

In addition, Alan Adcock, partner and deputy director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, will participate in a panel discussion on the role of in-house legal counsel in Thailand.

Pacific Business Press, publisher of Asian-Mena Counsel magazine, will host Bangkok In-House Congress 2014 at the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit hotel in Bangkok on June 25. For more information on In-House Congress 2014 Bangkok, please visit the In-House Community website.

In recognition of Tilleke & Gibbins’ pro bono practice, our firm has been nominated as “2019 Domestic Law Firm of the Year” at this year’s TrustLaw Awards. Our nomination in this category is based on our commitment to supporting pro bono projects through the TrustLaw Foundation over the past year, and is particularly distinctive as Tilleke & Gibbins is one of just three firms in the world, and the only firm in the Asia-Pacific region, under consideration for this award.
