Law.com International has unveiled the shortlists for the Asia Legal Awards 2024, and Tilleke & Gibbins has been nominated for awards in four categories.  The nominations include:  Southeast Asia Firm of the Year  Intellectual Property Firm of the Year (Asia-wide)  M&A Firm of the Year (Asia-wide)  TMT Firm of the Year (Asia-wide)   In addition to these regional firm nominations, Tilleke & Gibbins has also been acknowledged for its exceptional work in the field of restructuring and insolvency. Tilleke & Gibbins once again earned high marks across all six jurisdictions in the 2024 rankings from The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, which was released on January 17. International Employment Lawyer (IEL) recently held the IEL Awards 2023 ceremony celebrating the world’s leading labor and employment law practices, and Tilleke & Gibbins received the “Highly Commended” award in the Asia-Pacific Law Firm of the Year category. The awards ceremony, which was held at Plaisterers Hall in London, brought together more than 200 representatives from law firms and in-house lawyers from around the world. Tilleke & Gibbins won awards for three jurisdictions at the recent Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) and World Trademark Review (WTR) Global IP Awards 2023. Alan Adcock and Somboon Earterasarun, partners in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property (IP) department in Bangkok, are named in the 2023 edition of IAM Strategy 300. Alan, who also leads the firm’s regional life sciences practice, has now been recognized in the annual IAM Strategy 300 list for 13 years, while this is Somboon’s first year on the list.
