Kittiphan Khattiwiriyaphinyo is an attorney-at-law who manages trademark portfolios for leading organizations in a wide range of industries. Her practice focuses on domestic and international trademark prosecution, including searching, registering, licensing, and enforcing trademarks. Kittiphan also regularly counsels clients on bringing and defending opposition and cancellation actions before the Thai Trademark Registrar and the Board of Trademarks.

Kittiphan is admitted to practice law in Thailand. She was registered as a patent agent in 2006 and was subsequently registered as a notarial service attorney in 2009. Kittiphan is a member of the Thai Bar Association and the Lawyers Council of Thailand.

  • Opposed a trademark application that was confusingly similar to our client’s trademark registration. Our client is a domestic leader in the rubber manufacturing industry.

  • Represented one of the biggest Korean consumer electronics and home appliance corporations in registering their trademarks as well-known marks with the Thai Department of Intellectual Property.

  • Defended trademark oppositions on behalf of our client, a German corporation involved in organizing international trade fairs and congresses. Our actions allowed the applications to proceed to registration.

  • Represented an international shoe company based in Spain in an appeal of the Thai Trademark Registrar’s rejection on the grounds of confusing similarity with an existing trademark registration.
