Biography

Chanakan Luksanasorn is an associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial department in Bangkok. She assists multinational and domestic businesses on various corporate legal matters, including regulatory compliance under Thai law, capital markets and securities, and securities-related law. Her knowledge of capital markets, corporate transactions, and corporate regulations helps companies develop and execute strategies for growth.

Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Chanakan worked at an international law firm in Bangkok, where she assisted clients on corporate services involving private and public companies, regulatory and licensing matters for foreign businesses, conversion of private companies to public companies, share transfers, and general corporate advice.

Chanakan holds an LLB from Thammasat University and is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand.

  • Assisted a leading magazine publisher and a digital TV operator in relation to a share purchase agreement.
  • Advised a leading international company of pharmaceuticals, nutraceutical products, and consumer goods on regulatory requirements pertaining to its annual general meeting.

  • Assisted a well-known Thai door and window manufacturer in connection with its conversion from a private company to a public company, which included providing guidance on the IPO process.
