Sara is the director of marketing and business development at Tilleke & Gibbins. She works to understand client opportunities and challenges so that Tilleke & Gibbins can proactively address needs and help clients achieve their business goals in Southeast Asia and beyond. Through her guidance of the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives, Sara works to foster genuine and productive connections that help clients overcome legal obstacles and navigate regulatory complexity.
As a leader who is passionate about bringing together the best of a firm to help clients, she has extensive experience steering marketing and business development efforts at a number of top professional and financial services firms. She has experience in the United States and the Asia-Pacific region, having been based in Seattle, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore, and Bangkok.
Sara served for many years on the Asia-Pacific leadership board of the Association for Proposal Management Professionals, where she cofounded the first mentoring program in the region and built new communities of winning work professionals in Singapore, Hong Kong, Manila, and other business hubs in Asia.
Her interests also include corporate social responsibility—particularly how organizations can find opportunities to partner on specific initiatives to share resources and learnings on social impact.
