Yuwadee Thean-ngarm Is Elected Secretary-General of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar

The Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM) recently elected Yuwadee Thean-ngarm to join the TBAM Executive Committee as its new secretary-general.

In her new role at TBAM, Yuwadee will support the association in strengthening trade cooperation and investments between Thai and Myanmar businesses, facilitate the exchange of business knowledge and experience between the two nations, and represent Thai businesses in six main sectors in Myanmar: import/export and distribution; agriculture and fishery; hotel, restaurant, and service business; banking, finance, and legal; construction and energy; and airline, logistics, and IT.

As director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Myanmar Office, Yuwadee advises clients on a full range of IP and corporate matters, making her a highly suitable candidate to fill the post of TBAM secretary-general.
