Waewpen Piemwichai Named to ALB Top 15 Rising Lawyers in Asia

Asian Legal Business (ALB) published their first-ever “Top 15 Rising Lawyers in Asia” list, with Waewpen Piemwichai, a senior associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Hanoi office, included as one of the recognized practitioners.

The list spotlights 15 exceptional legal practitioners across the region who are under 40 years old and who have demonstrated outstanding performance in client service and career development. ALB researchers considered nominations from law firms throughout the region of attorneys under 40, focusing on feedback from colleagues and clients, as well as descriptions of the nominees’ involvement in significant casework in the region.

Specializing in tech and telecommunications law, Waewpen is a key point of contact in Vietnam and in the firm’s regional technology industry practice. Through her work advising technology companies and clients from many other industries, her reputation for providing a high standard of client service has grown. In addition to the ALB Top 15 Rising Lawyers recognition, Waewpen has earned rankings from both Chambers and Asialaw for her technology, media, and telecommunications legal work in Vietnam.

The 2024 edition of Asia Super 50 TMT Lawyers from Asian Legal Business (ALB) magazine includes Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, partner and director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial department in Bangkok. This marks Nop’s second consecutive appearance on the annual Asia Super 50 TMT Lawyers list.
