Vietnam’s New Land Law: Presentation for EuroCham Hanoi

Dr. Vinh Quoc Nguyen, a senior associate in the Ho Chi Minh City office of Tilleke & Gibbins, will deliver a presentation on Vietnam’s new Land Law at a EuroCham business luncheon in Hanoi on September 9.

In his presentation, Dr. Vinh will review the changes and trends found in the new Land Law, which took effect earlier this year, and their impact on foreign developers in Vietnam. Specifically, he will cover the following topics:

  • New forms of land acquisition
  • New conditions for obtaining land
  • New methods used by the government for pricing the land
  • New favorable conditions for residential developers
