Vietnam Trademark Practice Ranked Band 1 by WTR 1000

Tilleke & Gibbins has been identified as a Band 1 firm in Vietnam in the inaugural edition of the World Trademark Review 1000 – The Definitive Guide to Trademark Legal Services. The guide, from the publishers of World Trademark Review magazine, aims to identify and rank the firms and individuals to turn to for unparalleled trademark services when seeking local and international legal partners.

In Vietnam, the guide states that “this leading IP practice is a market heavyweight, respected both for its expertise in all areas of trademark law and for its ‘impressive portfolio of loyal clients.’” Thomas Treutler, Partner and Managing Director of the firm’s Vietnam offices, was named a leading individual for both contentious and noncontentious trademark work in Vietnam. In addition to this recognition in Vietnam, the firm was also listed as Band 1 in Thailand.

The WTR 1000 is the result of an exhaustive qualitative research project involving hundreds of interviews of trademark specialists, both private practice and in-house, in more than 50 key jurisdictions.
