Jeffrey J. Blatt, of counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group and head of the firm’s technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) practice, will make a presentation on “In Tech We Trust: Securing Digital Privacy in a Global Surveillance State” at the RSA Conference 2017 Asia Pacific and Japan.

Tilleke & Gibbins has been nominated for two national categories and two regional categories in the Asian Legal Business  Southeast Asia Law Awards 2017. This year’s winners will be announced at the St. Regis Singapore on May 18, 2017.The four nominations earned by the firm are as follows:

Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, of counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group, will join the 5th Asia Insurance Brokers’ Summit to provide her legal insights in a special panel on “Cyber Risks & Security – The Rise of the Cyber Threat.” The event will be hosted in Singapore by Asia Insurance Review  and joined by leading insurance companies, insurance brokerage firms, regulators, and service providers from across the region.

Tilleke & Gibbins has been nominated for the Thailand Law Firm of the Year Award 2017 by Chambers Asia-Pacific. The firm has been nominated for the award six times since 2010, and was honored to win the Thailand Law Firm of the Year Award 2014. This year’s winner will be announced at Chambers Asia-Pacific’s annual ceremony and dinner, which will be held at The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore on March 24, 2017.
