USD 4 Million Acquisition of 3.425 MW Solar Power Project

Tilleke & Gibbins’ energy industry team in Thailand advised the renewable energy branch of a power plant operator on its planned THB 138 million (approx. USD 4.39 million) acquisition of 100% shares in a 3.425 MW rooftop solar power project in Pathum Thani, Thailand.

We assisted the client with the full scope of the proposed transaction, which will include conducting a comprehensive due diligence exercise; reviewing and commenting on the share purchase agreement; negotiating the terms of the agreement, and closing the deal.

The rooftop solar power project is uniquely situated on top of one of Asia’s largest malls—which covers over 15 acres. Notably, all of the power produced by the plant is bought and used by the shopping center.
