Tilleke & Gibbins has received high accolades for its exceptional regional practice at the inaugural Asialaw Asia-Pacific Legal Practice Awards, where it was named Southeast Asia Firm of the Year, Asia-Pacific Intellectual Property Firm of the Year, and Thailand Firm of the Year.

The Southeast Asia Firm of the Year award, for which Tilleke & Gibbins was one of eight firms nominated, recognizes the most esteemed full-service law firm in the region judged on innovation, complexity, and impact of work undertaken in 2016 and 2017.

The Intellectual Property Firm of the Year award represents the strongest IP practice from the entire Asia-Pacific region, with Tilleke & Gibbins winning the award in the face of stiff competition from leading law firms in Australia, China, India, Singapore, and South Korea.

The Thailand Firm of the Year award recognizes the most outstanding regional or local legal practice, across all practice areas, in Thailand. As one of five firms nominated, this award further cements Tilleke & Gibbins’ position as the leading regional legal practice in Thailand.

Asialaw, known for its market-leading directories Asialaw Profiles  and Asialaw Leading Lawyers, conducts annual market research on law firms headquartered in the Asia-Pacific region through an exhaustive combination of interviews with law firms, in-house counsel, and clients. These awards recognize the most significant achievements in legal practice across 24 jurisdictions uncovered during that research process. The firm was nominated in 12 categories in total.
