World Trademark Review

Tilleke & Gibbins’ trademark practice in Vietnam was placed in the “Gold” band in the 2016 edition of the World Trademark Review 1000 – The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals.

The ranking’s editorial says that Tilleke & Gibbins “combines the advantages of a local and a regional firm,” and “it covers Southeast Asia as well as any firm.”

“Its trademark and patent registration operation is a well-oiled machine,” the editorial continues. Thomas Treutler, partner and managing director of the firm’s Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City offices, is described as a “leading light” and “an essential bridge for foreign entities seeking to enter Vietnam.” Thomas was also identified as a leading lawyer in Vietnam.
