Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam IP Practice Ranked in Top Band in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2015

Chambers Asia-Pacific

Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property practice in Vietnam has been placed in “Band 1” in the recently released Chambers Asia-Pacific 2015  rankings. In order to determine the rankings, more than 140 researchers conducted client interviews and assessed recent work handled by firms. Departments within law firms were ranked according to their effectiveness and capability as a whole, their lawyers’ qualities, their strengths, and their depth.

The Chambers Asia-Pacific  editorial describes Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam IP team as being known for having a “deep bench of specialists with a strong focus on managing patent and trade mark portfolios for blue-chip companies.” One client, commenting on our firm’s IP team in Vietnam, is quoted as saying, “they have provided thoughtful responses and analysis and are prompt and responsible in handling deadlines.” Another client said, “they provide excellent client service and value” and “they are knowledgeable and their advice is reliable.” In the “notable practitioners” section, Thomas J. Treutler, managing partner of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, was described by one source as “one of the best in Vietnam for IP matters” and as providing “clear and articulate advice.” Thomas was also individually ranked by the publication.

More information on the rankings may be found on the Chambers Asia-Pacific website.
