Tilleke & Gibbins’ TMT Practice in Thailand Receives Highest Ranking by Chambers

Tilleke & Gibbins technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) practice group in Thailand has been recognized by Chambers Asia-Pacific  with a “Band 1” ranking for the fifth consecutive year in 2017. The rankings are based on client feedback, work handled by firms, and the strength of firms’ teams, among other factors.

The ranking’s editorial highlights the outstanding track record of Tilleke & Gibbins’ TMT practice group, including its expertise on a full spectrum of issues, from contracts to M&A and litigation. Clients praised the group for the calibre of its advice: “The firm has provided us with exceptional high-quality support.”

Jeffrey J. Blatt, of counsel in the firm’s TMT group, garnered continued recognition for his TMT and IP work, with his extensive experience in satellite television broadcasting, telecommunications, and data privacy matters. For the fifth year in a row, Tilleke & Gibbins has been named “Employer of Choice” in Thailand in a survey conducted by Asian Legal Business.The rankings were determined through an online survey of more than 3,500 private practice lawyers across Asia, ranging from managing partners to paralegals, as well as the magazine’s independent research. Asian Legal Business (ALB)  has published an “Emerging Markets Experts” list for the first time, with Tilleke & Gibbins among 11 firms across Asia named to the list.ALB  defines emerging markets as Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. The list features both regional and international firms which have helped their clients maximize the potential of emerging markets, such as by securing or facilitating key business deals, or resolving disputes.
