Tilleke & Gibbins, TBAM, and TLCA Offer Myanmar Trademark Webinar for Thai Investors

On September 17, Tilleke & Gibbins will team up with the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM) and the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA) to offer a webinar to Thai investors on the implications of Myanmar’s New Trademark Law and details of trademark refiling during the soft-opening period of Myanmar’s’ Intellectual Property Office, which will begin on October 1, 2020.

During the session, Yuwadee Thean-ngarm, director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ office in Yangon, and Tasha Tiensilakul, consultant, will provide an in-depth look at the regulations provided under the new law and highlight easy-to-follow steps for investors to secure protection of their valuable trademarks in the steadily growing Myanmar market. Immediately following the session, the speakers will also make themselves available for a Q&A session to respond to lingering questions that attendees may have.
