Tilleke & Gibbins’ Tax Team in Thailand Ranked in Top Band by Chambers

Chambers Asia-Pacific

For the fourth consecutive year, Chambers Asia-Pacific  has awarded a “Band 1” ranking to Tilleke & Gibbins’ tax practice in Thailand. The rankings are based on factors such as client feedback, recent work completed, and the strength of firms’ teams.

The ranking’s editorial says that Tilleke & Gibbins is “lauded for its international tax expertise,” and that the firm is “particularly known for its skill in the fields of corporation and income tax.” Sriwan Puapondh, Of Counsel and head of the tax group at Tilleke & Gibbins, “really understands how the revenue department and international tax works,” one client is quoted as saying. Another client said, “she knows what she’s doing, particularly on general tax advice and auditing.” Sriwan is “especially revered for her expertise on customs issues,” the editorial continues. Sriwan was also ranked individually and recognized in the “notable practitioners” section.

More information on the rankings can be found on the Chambers Asia-Pacific website.
