Tilleke & Gibbins Stands Out in WTR 1000 2025 Rankings

The newly released 2025 edition of the annual WTR 1000 rankings from World Trademark Review once again give high marks to Tilleke & Gibbins across the region. The rankings, which showcase the leading firms and lawyers for trademark work around the world, again confirm Tilleke & Gibbins’ reputation as a powerhouse for trademark-related matters in Southeast Asia.

In the 2025 rankings, the firm’s offices in Thailand and Vietnam have retained their top-tier Gold Band rankings, while the Indonesia office achieved Silver Band rankings in both the Prosecution and Strategy (Silver Band) and the Enforcement and Litigation (Bronze Band) categories. In the Cambodia rankings, Tilleke & Gibbins was placed in the top tier (Highly Recommended), while the firm’s Yangon office again appeared in the single-tier Myanmar rankings of recommended firms. World Trademark Review does not currently publish rankings for Laos.

Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine has released the 2022 edition of IAM Patent 1000 from, and Tilleke & Gibbins’ patent practice in Vietnam was once again recognized with a Gold Band ranking. Tilleke & Gibbins’ patent practice in Thailand has garnered a top-tier ranking in the latest edition of IAM Patent 1000 from Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine. This is the tenth consecutive year that Tilleke & Gibbins has been listed in the gold band—IAM Patent 1000’s highest distinction—in the guide to the top patent professionals around the world. The June 2022 issue of Asian Legal Business (ALB) includes their Top 15 Female Lawyers feature—an annual list of the leading women in legal practice across Asia. Included in the list is Tilleke & Gibbins managing partner Darani Vachanavuttivong, who is also managing director of the firm’s intellectual property department. She is the only lawyer from Thailand to be named to this year’s list. Directly following the announcement of the Top 15 Female Lawyers in the magazine is a roundtable article titled “Women Leaders Forge a New Path.” This article features insights and opinions from leaders at law firm throughout Asia, including extensive quotes from Darani and her fellow managing partner, Tiziana Sucharitkul. Announced at a ceremony in Singapore on May 25, the awards recognize the top legal service providers in Southeast Asia over the past year.
